Obsidian Catalyst is a tactics-style strategy RPG inspired by the Shining Force series, with influence from Fire Emblem, Dark Savior, Final Fantasy and Skies of Arcadia. You will be leading a squad of 12 members, among over 50 hand-crafted playable characters as you discover the secrets behind the Obsidian Catalyst.
Our story is set in the world of Lossock. In the sleepy, countryside town of Vinheim in the South of the country of Rilinth, Eremar and his friends spend their days enjoying each others company and exploring the nearby countryside. One evening one of their group spies a strange phenomenon occurring in the forest near the village and so the following morning they head out to explore the forest and delve deep into some ruins. Inside the ruins there is a strange interaction with a magical keepsake and so the group decide to seek the wisdom of their elders to learn more. Upon returning to Vinheim ...
